We have an immediate need for a Software Quality Engineers for the Advanced Technologies section located in Tucson, AZ. **What You Will Do** + Support the verification and validation of embedded software, firmware, and simulation products to ensure they meet design and contract requirements. + Assist in reviewing digital product artifacts such as source code and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. + Follow established software quality processes and contribute to audits, reviews, and inspections. + Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues early in the development lifecycle. + Help track and document software quality metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives. **What You Will Learn** + How to apply software quality assurance principles to real-world digital product development. + Best practices for reviewing and validating embedded software, firmware, and simulation artifacts. + How to interpret and follow industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality processes. + Effective collaboration techniques within cross-functional engineering and quality teams. + Tools and methods for tracking quality metrics and supporting continuous improvement efforts. **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field. + Less than 12 months of relevant work experience + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. + Tucson, AZ: The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
