We're looking for a Cable Technician 2 to join our team and support structured cabling and low-voltage system installations across a variety of commercial job sites. • Splice fiber, including mechanical splicing
  • Build out ladder racks, IDFs, and MDFs
  • Label, trace, and verify cable connectivity using tone and volt meters
  • Install access control, security, CCTV, paging, and A/V field devices
  • Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and scope documents
  • Work safely on ladders, lifts, and around active customers in schools, hospitals, and commercial sites
  • Provide informal leadership and guidance to Tech 1s on site
  • Support field teams with subcontracted national service work
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in structured cabling and low-voltage systems
  • High proficiency in copper and fiber installs, splicing, and closet builds
  • Experience in schools, hospitals, and occupied commercial environments
  • Strong understanding of patch panel terminations, labeling, and connectivity testing
  • Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and represent the company professionally
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred
  • Comfortable working at heights and lifting/moving equipment
  • Solid team player who sets the tone for others through accountability and craftsmanship

Benefits and Compensation

  • $26 $35/hr based on experience and qualifications
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Short-term disability, AD&D, and long-term disability coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO)
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement

Why Work With Us

We're more than a low-voltage contractor, we're a close-knit team that takes pride in our work and supports each other's growth. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in a company known for doing things right the first time. Whether you're building out an MDF or guiding a newer tech, you'll be part of a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and long-term success.
