TeleVac South is a busy, well-established industrial sewer/storm drain company. We are looking to hire a Vactor/Vacuum Truck Operator for our Tampa location.

What you will do:

• Operate Jet Vac hydro excavation truck (Vactor 2100), using high pressure water and vacuum systems for cleaning and excavations.
• Work includes but not limited to vacuuming pipes and boxes, trenching and locating utilities, jet flush city sewers and storm drains.
• Maintain equipment and keep it clean inside and out.
• Open and close storm grates and sewer manholes.
• Ability to work alone or as a team.
• Effectively read maps and prints.
• Accurately document services performed.
• Mechanically inclined- able to make minor repairs to equipment.

What you will need:

• Must possess a Class A or B with tanker endorsement, minimum of 3 years. 
• Clean motor vehicle report required.
• 6 plus months Vactor truck experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Underground utility experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working outside at job sites, entering manholes and confined spaces.
• Ability to travel throughout Florida as needed, Monday-Friday.
