Job Title: Pre-Kindergarten Teacher / Educational Assistant

Location: Golden, CO 80403

Compensation: $50 to $55 per hour

Supervisor: Building Principal

Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you enjoy creating joyful, engaging learning experiences for young children? We are looking for a dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Teacher/Educational Assistant to join our team and help shape the minds of our youngest learners.

This dual-role opportunity is perfect for candidates who thrive in a dynamic classroom environment and want to make a meaningful impact in both lead teaching and support roles.

What You'll Do

As a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher:

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom that supports all areas of child development
• Observe and assess children's progress; adapt teaching as needed
• Communicate effectively with families about student growth and classroom events
• Ensure full compliance with Colorado’s Early Childhood licensing regulations
• Collaborate with staff to create a cohesive and enriching learning experience
• Participate in required trainings and fulfill all professional development requirements

As an Educational Assistant:

• Support small-group instruction in literacy and math
• Monitor student behavior throughout the school (classroom, playground, cafeteria, etc.)
• Assist with student assessments, classroom prep, and field trip coordination
• Substitute in assigned classes (if certified)
• Attend team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
• Help create visual instructional materials and assist with grading as needed

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Valid Colorado teaching license
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (with ECE coursework or relevant experience)
• Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II or higher
• Experience working with young children in an educational or care setting
• Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
• Physical ability to engage in classroom and outdoor activities with children

Physical Requirements
