\n \n\n \nThe role you'll contribute:
\n \n\n \nThe Surgical Technologist II is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse according to the accepted clinical standards of care.
\n \n\n \nThe value you'll bring to the team:
\n \n\n \nChecks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedure
\n \nScrubs, gowns, and gloves
\n \nSets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedure displays knowledge of procedure and patient postitioning
\n \nPerforms appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before incision is closed
\n \nGowns and gloves surgeon and assistants
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \n\n \nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
\n \n\n \nHigh School Graduate/ GED
\n \nSuccessful Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program
\n \nCommitment to work on a Specialty Surgical Team of Open Heart, NeuroSurgery or Orthopedic
\n \nCST certification obtained through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (ST-C) obtained through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) / BLS
