******** Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Oversee Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP accounting
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of financial statements and analysis of variances
• Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Provide guidance and support to other departments regarding financial matters
• Manage the general ledger accounting function, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Supervise the payroll process and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, ERP)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Solid understanding of corporate accounting processes, including general ledger accounting, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable
• Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Someone with inventory management experience
• Tangible accounting experience (5 yrs minimum)
• CPA license or background, who can file commercial taxes
• Experience building up balance sheets, reconciling the entire company, etc
• High level, experienced candidates

Compensation :

• Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 annually
