At
On Time Elite , we provide the highest quality talent trailers, hair, and makeup vehicles for the entertainment industry. With over 30 years of experience, we are pioneers in the industry, having serviced high-profile events such as the Macy's Day Parade, New Year's Eve Ball Drop, and numerous ad campaigns, private events, and photoshoots.
As we approach our peak season, we are seeking experienced
Class A and Class B drivers to join our team. Drivers have always played a crucial role in the success of our events, and we are looking for dependable, skilled professionals to help us maintain that standard of excellence.
Position Requirements:
- Valid Class A or B License with Air Brake Endorsement (applications without this will not be considered).
- Experience Driving Large Vehicles (familiarity with RVs is a plus but not required; training will be provided).
- Photos of your Drivers License (front and back) and a copy of your driving abstract must be submitted with your application. We will send these to our carrier for verification of your driving history.
Upon approval, you will be required to complete all HR documents and undergo paid training for different types of vehicles and event sets.
Pay:
- Base Rate : $300 ( for 12 hours or Less)
- Hourly Rate : $25 per hour for any additional time beyond 12 hours.
- After 40 Hrs ( weekly) : Time and a 1/2
Preferred Traits & Skills:
- Punctuality : Many of our projects have early start times. Garage times may range from late evening (12 AM) to early morning (6 AM). It is essential that drivers arrive on time as our schedules are carefully calculated to ensure timely arrival at each event.
- Dependability : Our clients and production teams rely on us to deliver. No-shows are unacceptable. Once a driver is assigned, they are expected to show up as scheduled.
- Technical Proficiency : We provide some of the most sophisticated vehicles in the industry. While prior experience with RVs or specialized vehicles is not required, any technical knowledge is an advantage. You will be trained on the specifics of each vehicle, but being able to operate them in real time is a great advantage.
- Problem-Solving Skills : On set, unexpected situations may arise. We are looking for candidates who can stay calm, think critically, and troubleshoot on location. If any mechanical issues occur, its crucial to reach out to your booking director for support.
- Discretion & Privacy : Many of our clients are high-profile individuals, including celebrities, singers, and actors. Confidentiality is paramount. Drivers must adhere to strict NDAs and respect privacy rules and regulations.
