Your new role

• 📋 Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to final inspection
• 🛠️ Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure timely and quality execution
• 🧱 Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards
• 📆 Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines
• 🧰 Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
• 🤝 Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues
• 📞 Lead daily site meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
• 🧾 Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, reports, and safety records

What you'll need to succeed

• 🏗️ 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong background in ground-up projects
• 🏫 Prior experience building K-12 or higher education facilities highly preferred
• 🧑‍💼 Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and complex schedules
• 📐 Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes
• 💻 Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
• 🚗 Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within NC.
• 📄 OSHA 30 certification preferred
