Summary

As a Data Analyst at CoStrategix, you will have broad exposure to diverse industries and technologies. You will work on leading-edge digital projects in areas such as Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Analysis, Data Insights and Activation, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, and Metadata, within an Agile process setting. CoStrategix operates at the leading edge of technologies.

The ideal candidate is consultative, able to bridge the gap between business and technology teams, and inspire clients to adopt a data-driven culture. They will lead discussions with both technical and business stakeholders, show the art of the possible through demos and prototypes, and ensure solutions are user-friendly, insightful, and high performing.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Consult with clients on business goals and translate them into data solutions and analytics strategies.
2. Lead stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions to uncover requirements and foster data-driven thinking.
3. Conduct research and analysis tailored to each client’s domain and data sources.
4. Create data models, SQL scripts, transformations, and validations needed to support the data warehouses.
5. Incorporate industry best practices into data models, data architecture, and SQL transformation scripts.
6. Use data storytelling to engage users and drive adoption of insights and dashboards.
7. Apply statistical models or machine learning methods to support predictive or prescriptive analytics.
8. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business users, ensuring shared understanding.
9. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets.
10. Analyze, understand, and contribute to systems architecture and programming constructs, including APIs, data models, and ER diagrams.
11. Communicate daily with other analysts, developers, project managers, and team leads regarding cloud designs, data models, pipelines, and other project-related matters on various projects.
12. Collaborate with technical architects and developers to research and assess various solutions and technologies that can be combined to solve a business problem
13. Work with clients and testers to ensure the data meets the client's requirements, including phases such as data validation, user acceptance testing, and data quality.
14. Work with geographically distributed teams in an Agile setting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in data or business analysis
• Proven experience working consultatively with business and IT stakeholders
• Ability to communicate and simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences
• Working knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse architecture
• Familiarity with ETL concepts and tools
• Experience with data storytelling and dashboard design best practices
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills
• 5+ years of hands-on SQL experience
• Strong competencies in Excel, Python, or other similar tools or languages
