Job Title: Data Scientist BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Data Scientist to perform data and computer science analysis in support of customer operations. Location Primary Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Secondary Locations: Augusta, GA; San Antonio, TX; Oahu, HI; Various locations Clearance Requirement TS/SCI with Polygraph Skills and Experience Experience creating and applying advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical methods such as regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, and clustering. Coding experience with languages including Python, Java, C, C++. Experience supporting one or multiple domain areas as a Data Scientist. Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts, with application experience. Excellent communication skills for cross-team coordination. Motivation to learn and master new technologies. Preferred Experience Data processing, management, visualization, workflow, and reproducibility. Data modeling, inference, and prediction, considering domain-specific factors. Ability to translate mission needs into technical requirements and assist in data analysis interpretation. Degree Requirements Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science. Education and Experience Entry-level: Associate's degree + 7 years, Bachelor's + 5 years, or Master's + 3 years of relevant experience. Higher levels: up to 13 years of experience depending on education. Pay Range $160,000 - $240,000. Compensation considers role responsibilities, education, experience, and competencies.
