We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Middleton, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in assisting with a Citrix migration project, ensuring virtual desktop environments are seamlessly updated and fully functional for end users. This onsite opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with an experienced IT team to deliver high-quality technical support and user training.

Responsibilities:
• Migrate users’ virtual desktops to a new Citrix instance, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Conduct handoffs of the updated MyDesk environment to end users, verifying proper setup and usability.
• Provide direct user support to confirm desktop configurations meet individual needs.
• Work closely with the internal IT team to troubleshoot issues and escalate problems as necessary.
• Document the migration process, including steps taken, challenges encountered, and resolutions implemented.
• Offer guidance and training to end users navigating the new desktop environment.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism during all interactions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in desktop or IT support roles.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and user-related issues.
• Demonstrated ability to support users through technical transitions or migrations.
• Familiarity with Citrix environments, including Citrix XenDesktop, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Active Directory, and desktop imaging processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Experience managing service desk tickets and resolving user requests efficiently.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite team environment.
