Job Description

Overview The PEO senior leader responsible for the overall PEO strategy including the competitiveness of our PEO offering - health and benefits, 401K, as well as the non-insurance elements of our bundled offering. Responsibilities Insurance Procurement: product strategy, insurance renewals, carrier evaluations and recommendations, voluntary product commissions. Benefits Compliance: COBRA, 401K administration and governance, ACA, WSE benefits enrollment, ERISA, Section 125, HIPPA, 5500 & M1 Reporting. Enrollment: planning and execution of benefit conference and 3rd party vendor, training and all internal, client and WSEs communication. Annual Fiduciary Financial: benefits due diligence for acquisitions, invoice reconciliation & payment, 401K Investment Committee, Client Retained plan rules and reconciliation. Benefits Technology- EDI interfaces, COBS system for clients, MBC web portal, system level set ups etc. Reporting and Analytics- reporting and measuring MLR score cards, client level performance analysis, recommended medical pricing, risk analysis oversight, vendor management. Managing dedicated 401K Agents to drive 401K attachment on SEP, MEP or PEP. Managing dedicated PIA agents to drive agency attachment when not a fit for the PEO Master Plan. Manage and execute the entire Medical Underwriting Function- tools, rules of engagement, MLR performance, training and development, communication. Drive medical attachment on the PEO Master Plan (and agency when not fit for the master). Qualifications - Required Compensation In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $180,000.00 to $220,000.00 annually plus bonuses. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
