Job Description

Our firm has been engaged by a nationally recognized healthcare benefits platform that specializes in delivering data-driven services and custom benefit solutions. They partner with a wide network of payers, employers, and healthcare providers to ensure quality outcomes and improved operational efficiency. The company has built a reputation for innovation, data integration, and client satisfaction, earning accolades in various industry publications and regional tech awards for operational excellence and digital transformation in healthcare services. Currently, they are looking to bring on an ETL Developer to join their EDI and ETL team. The Role You’ll Play As an ETL Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in architecting and maintaining the systems responsible for processing proprietary healthcare data formats. You will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to design, develop, and support import/export processes critical to operations. Support day-to-day ETL operations with a hands-on approach and passion for delivering best-in-class services to internal and external stakeholders. Work with internal and external clients to gather, analyze and document EDI requirements. Build and support proprietary import/export data feeds for claims, eligibility, authorizations, and accumulators. Analyze the data exchanged with stakeholders in order to troubleshoot, record and address errors and implement corrections. Design, build, test, implement and maintain efficient and reliable C# code that is clean and scalable. Create and maintain Microsoft SQL databases, tables, views, stored procedures, etc. Work with multiple FTP protocols and applications, maintaining security Work on creating feature-rich scheduling, tracking, and error-handling solutions Support production including analysis, troubleshooting, and bug-fixing of problems Develop creative solutions and write technical design & architecture documents and provide estimates of effort fo programming and implementation Identify risk and failure points with a constant focus on process improvement and automation. Re-architect legacy applications as needed. Background Profile 5 - 10+ years of experience in back-end software engineering, working with databases and ETL processes. Proficient in C#, SQL, and SSIS. The ability to modify existing C# code and potentially copy and adapt code for new extracts is important Strong understanding of file mapping, data architecture, and ETL design principles. Understanding of electronic data interchange (EDI) and experience with SFTP servers is beneficial Knowledge of healthcare data is crucial, as there's limited time to teach both healthcare concepts and company systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills Prior experience in the healthcare industry. Familiarity with eligibility, claims, and accumulator data exchanges. Experience with the automation of legacy systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr Spinnaker Search
