Role Description:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Volunteer Email Marketing & Data Entry Assistant to support our digital outreach and lead nurturing efforts. In this remote role, you will work closely with the Lead Conversion & Email Marketing team, primarily assisting with database management, email campaign preparation, and ensuring the accuracy of our contact information. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in digital marketing and data management within a mission-driven nonprofit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the organization, clean-up, and maintenance of our email subscriber lists and contact databases.
• Performing accurate data entry of new contacts and updating existing information within our CRM or email marketing platform.
• Uploading, formatting, and proofreading content components (e.g., text, images, links) for email campaigns under supervision.
• Assisting with basic email campaign setup, including testing links and reviewing visual layouts, within our email marketing software.
• Supporting the team in monitoring email deliverability and identifying potential data-related issues.
• Compiling basic reports on email campaign distribution (e.g., tracking number of emails sent, list growth) as directed.
• Ensuring all data handling and email practices comply with established internal guidelines and privacy standards.
• Collaborating with the Lead Conversion & Email Marketing team to ensure seamless execution of digital initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Basic understanding of email communication and digital platforms.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for data organization.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage specific tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a remote team.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to learn about email marketing, lead nurturing, and data management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, team-oriented environment.
• Passion for our organization's mission and a desire to make a positive impact.
• Volunteers should be available to work within a U.S. time zone for effective collaboration.
