Working alongside and as part of this team to help shape the RCM space is exciting ."-Patti Consolver, Director of Business Development Epic Hospital Billing / Claims Consultant Hourly Pay: $90.00/hour Contract Length: 3 Months Location: 100% Remote Division: Health Administration Overview: The Wilshire Group is seeking an experienced Epic Hospital Billing and Claims Consultant to support our client's HB/Claims Team during a period of increased workload and staffing shortage. This individual will be responsible for addressing a backlog of work, resolving support tickets, and collaborating with both operational and HIT support teams. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day production support for Hospital Billing and Claims within Epic. Resolve tickets in a timely and accurate manner. Collaborate closely with operational billing teams to understand priorities and business impact. Mentor HIT support staff on complex issues and guide resolution strategies. Engage with third-party vendors such as Experian to troubleshoot and resolve billing and claims-related issues. Analyze and resolve issues related to statements, DNBs, client billing, and correctional health claims. Requirements: Epic Hospital Billing Certification Epic Hospital Billing Claims Certification Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Epic Hospital Billing support environment. Strong understanding of complex claims logic and clearinghouse processes. Experience working with third-party vendors (e.g., Experian).
