Position Title: Intern

Department: Finance and Underwriting

Duration: August 1, 2025 – September 26, 2025

Schedule: Monday–Friday / 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Opportunity Overview:

Join our Finance and Underwriting team as an intern and gain hands-on experience in the operations of an insurance trust. This internship is ideal for someone looking to build or deepen their understanding of insurance processing and underwriting.

This internship is focused on processing insurance endorsements, which will make up the majority of your daily responsibilities. If you are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and looking to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

You will gain exposure to the full range of rating responsibilities, including:

• Processing and scanning endorsement requests (primary responsibility).

• Inputting, rating, printing (worksheets and schedules), reviewing renewals, and proof-typing endorsements for various product lines.

• Printing and emailing certificates of insurance.

• Compiling and organizing information and reports.

• Inputting and scanning change forms for auto, property, general liability, and workers’ compensation.

• Assisting with backup tasks such as supporting special projects.

• Supporting training efforts and performing additional duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understanding of general office procedures and equipment.

• Typing skills of at least 35 CWPM.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Strong aptitude for learning and working with data-heavy processes.
