**Job Title: Firewatch** **Job Description** As a Firewatch, you will provide essential support across all areas of the LCAC refurbishment process. This role involves assisting various tradespeople and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of workspaces. **Responsibilities** + Pick, handle, and organize materials and tools. + Assist ship fitters, mechanics, electricians, and welders. + Clean work and office areas as required. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical skills + Experience in construction and labor + Proficiency with hand tools and drills + Basic carpentry skills + Ability to follow written and oral instructions **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of general shop practices in fabrication or ship/aircraft repair environments + General mechanical aptitude **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a dynamic work environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities. Join us to be part of a dedicated team working on innovative projects. **Work Environment** The role is based at a repair facility at ACU-5 Camp Pendleton, with work taking place both indoors and outdoors in large hangars or on the tarmac. Employees must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Safety is paramount, and all employees are required to wear steel-toe shoes, with additional protective equipment such as safety hats, glasses, and gloves provided on-site. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camp Pendleton, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $11.00 - $12.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
