Job Description
Recruitablez is excited to partner with our client in search of an experienced Production Supervisor to lead 1st shift operations at a food manufacturing facility.
Compensation: Up to $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: Elgin, IL
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and schedule production staff to meet daily and weekly goals.
Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, FSQA policies, and customer specifications .
Monitor processes for efficiency, yield, and waste ; drive improvements where needed.
Train, coach, and evaluate team members, partnering with HR as necessary.
Collaborate with maintenance to reduce downtime and support preventive maintenance.
Promote a safety-first culture while enforcing OSHA and company safety standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and 5S.
Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready environment .
Candidate Profile:
✔ Previous experience as a Production Supervisor in a food facility (required)
✔ Strong understanding of food safety and compliance requirements
✔ Leadership and communication skills with experience managing diverse teams
✔ Bilingual – English & Spanish (required)
