Overview Fuel Tanker Truck Senior Driver - Day Shift, Mon-Fri We are Humboldt Pacific LLC, a fuel transport company that safely transports bulk fuel (Jet A, JP8, AVGAS & Kerosene) and other petroleum commodities throughout California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Utah. Our focus is in the transportation of bulk aviation fuels, however, we also specialize transport a variety of other petroleum-based products such as Jet Fuel, Renewable Fuels, Marine Gas Oil, Ethanol, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), Biodiesel, Red Dye Off-road Diesel, AV Gas, Clear Diesel Fuel, Bunker Fuel, Gasoline, Heating Oils and Bulk Oils to commercial and private airports, aviation emergency response, agriculture and logging aviation, cardlocks, C-stores and military bases. Department: Operations Shift: Varies Location: Santa Fe Springs (LA), CA Job Type: Full Time - Day Shift, Monday-Friday Education: High School Equivalent or Higher Pay Rate: Hourly | Non-Exempt | $27 (Training, avg. 3-6 weeks) then $33 Per Hour DOE + Overtime Over 40 Hours/Week + Paid Vacation, Health and 401k Benefits Duration: Full-time Permanent | 90 Day Probationary Period Applies Travel: Yes Job Summary: The Petroleum Product Tanker Driver's responsibilities include safe product handling, product quality assurance, and product transportation consistent with regulatory compliance and Company operating goals. The Petroleum Product Tanker Driver is responsible for the pick-up and the drop-off of a specified liquid or gas. Maintains vehicle in a neat and tidy manner Reports all accidents/damages/malfunctions immediately to management as per company policy and procedure Performs other related duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Must hold a valid Class A CDL with TWIC, HAZMAT, and Tank Endorsement Senior driver considered after 5th year of tanker driving experience Minimum of 24 months commercial driving experience No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3 year period No more than 2 accidents within a 3 year period DOT Drug Screening required No Felony convictions No DUI's/ DWI's within the last 7 years No positive or refused drug or alcohol tests Current Medical Examiner's Certificate Must be 23 Years of age or older Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language Physical & Working Conditions Must be able to perform repetitive motion activities throughout the day Requires getting into and out of the truck frequently Must be able to lift and/or move 75 lbs on a regular basis Must be able to work 10-12 hours per day, 5 days/week Drug and Alcohol screening required Full background check required While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts The employee must able to sit for an average of 65-75% of working hours The employee will be regularly exposed to very dusty and noisy conditions The employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions The employee may be exposed to chemicals used in the process Working conditions require work weeks that may consist of more than 40 hours or shift work.
