*** Delivery drivers needed in TAMPA***

 

*****Drivers must use a company provided vehicle****

Pay $20 hr.+ /weekly pay

***7-day operations; schedule to be set at time of hire***
Work days : 5 days per week /weekends are REQUIRED***
Work Day Schedule to be set at time of meeting with the manager***

Several Shift:

• AM & PM Shifts

JOB SUMMARY:

*** These are 1099 "Independent Contractors" not employees***

** Various screening FEES will apply prior to being contracted**

• Safety is key at Capstone, so we perform inspections of the vehicle prior to and after operation:
• Daily Functions: Operate Sprinter Vans for Home Deliveries for a major Grocery retailer
• These are CONTRACTOR positions, various FEES will apply
• Clean inside and outside of vans,
• Load groceries for delivery
• You will support and participate in Safety Team meetings to ensure open communication
• Complete daily logs to ensure proper reporting and measurement of productivity
• Communicate with other shifts to provide a seamless transition and maintain efficiency
• Read work orders determine work assignments to identify appropriate equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Ensure the yard is clean and organized
• Trailers are safely spotted and remain damage free
• Sit or stand for periods (concrete flooring and changing temperatures

 

• QUAIFICATIONS:

• Applicants MUST be 21 years of age or older
• Drivers MUST have A valid driver's license for at LEAST 1 year
• 1 year Cargo Van or Box Truck delivery experience
• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic
• Self-motivation with ability to work with limited supervision
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate changing operational needs
• ** Various screening FEES will apply prior to being contracted**

Ability to lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-75lbs. materials handled vary
Job Type: Contract

Expected Average hours: 30+ per week

• Weekends as needed

Experience/Requirements :

• Delivery Driver : 1 year
• 1 year Cargo Van or Box Truck delivery experience
• DOT Medical Card (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Meet Background/Drug & MVR requirements
