Pay: $72800 - $93600 / year (paid hourly)

Schedule: M - F; 8a - 5p (rotating on-call schedule for after hours emergencies)

Location: Corvallis, OR | HP campus

Are you an experienced HVAC professional looking for a challenging and rewarding career? We're seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team!

What your day-to-day will look like: 

• Diagnose and repair complex HVAC systems and equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance on various commercial HVAC units

• Install new HVAC systems and components

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues

• Ensure compliance with local and national codes and regulations

• Communicate effectively with clients and team members

• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records

Physical Work Requirements & Conditions:

• May spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions, and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain. Perform strenuous labor and general maintenance activities. The Mechanical-HVAC Technician will be required to regularly lift up to 50 lbs., carry and adjust heavy objects. Foreseeably the position will encounter sharp, hot, and very cold supplies equipment, and parts. 

• Must have the ability to safely climb ladders, work at elevation from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, roofs or platforms, and the ability to work in confined spaces and on roofs. While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair

• Valid HVAC certification (e.g., EPA Universal Certification)

• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and rooftop units

• Proficiency in reading schematics and wiring diagrams

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and customer service abilities

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions

• Available for on-call rotations and emergency service
