To tend laundering machines to clean articles such as wearing apparel, sheets, blankets, and other linens used by the hotel and guests.
Medium work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. A job is considered "inside" if the worker spends approximately 75 percent or more of the time inside.
Extremes of Heat Plus Temperature Changes: Extremes of heat: Temperature sufficiently high to cause marked bodily discomfort unless the worker is provided with exceptional protection. Temperature Changes: Variations in temperature, which are sufficiently marked and abrupt to cause noticeable bodily reactions.
Wet and Humid: Wet: Contact with water or other liquids. Humid: Atmospheric condition with moisture content sufficiently high to cause marked bodily discomfort.
Noise and Vibration: Sufficient noise, either constant or intermittent, to cause marked distraction or possible injury to the sense of hearing, and / or sufficient vibration (production of an oscillating movement or strain on the body or its extremities from repeated motion or shock) to cause bodily harm if endured day after day.

Reasoning Development: Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in or from standardized situations.
Mathematical Development: Add and subtract two digit numbers. Multiply and divide 10's and 100's by 2,3,4 and 5. Perform the four basic arithmetic operations with coins and as part of a dollar. Perform operations with units such as cup, pint and quart; inch, foot, and yard; or ounce and pound.
Language Development: Reading: Recognize meaning of 2,500 (two or three syllable) words. Read at a rate of 95-120 words per minute. Compare similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Writing: Print simple sentences containing subject, verb, and object, and series of numbers, names, and addresses. Speaking: Speak simple sentences, using normal word order, and present and past tenses.
Data: Comparing: Judging the readily observable, functional, structural or compositional characteristics (whether similar to or divergent from obvious standards) of data, people or things.
People: Taking instructions helping: Helping applies to "non-learning" helpers. No variety of implicit wishes of people is involved in this function
Things: Tending: Starting, stopping, and observing the functioning of machines and equipment. Involves adjusting materials or controls of the machine, such as changing guides, adjusting timers and temperature gages, turning valves to allow flow or materials, and flipping switches in response to lights. Little judgment is involved in making these adjustments.
Specific Vocational Preparation includes an occupationally significant combination of: vocational education, apprentice training, in-plant training, on-the-job training, or essential experience in less responsible jobs which lead to the higher job or serving in other jobs. Anything beyond short demonstration up to and including 30 days.
