The St. Austin School, a Catholic classical PreK-8th grade school, seeks a compassionate and experienced PreK teacher to foster a nurturing, faith-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate will integrate Montessori methods while cultivating curiosity, independence, and foundational academic skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Montessori principles and classical education.
• Create a structured, welcoming classroom that encourages exploration and spiritual growth.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and individual needs.
• Collaborate with faculty to align PreK curriculum with school-wide mission and goals.
Qualifications:
• A practicing Catholic, fully committed to the teachings of the Magisterium and striving to live a life of holiness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Montessori training or relevant experience (AMI certification not required).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
