Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric
Setting: Hospital (Level II Trauma Center)
Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medical care in a hospital setting
Manage 1.4 patients per hour
No midlevel support; solo coverage
Travel, lodging, and rental car provided for non-local providers (must follow CommonSpirit travel policies)
Required Procedures:
Intubation
Chest tubes
Central lines
Procedural sedation
OB/GYN procedures and deliveries
Adult and pediatric resuscitation
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: No midlevels
Days Per Month: TBD
On-Call/Weekends: Varied; included in shift schedule
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) – REQUIRED
Active ND medical license – REQUIRED
Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications – REQUIRED
Must notate all required skills and availability during name clear – REQUIRED
