Ultimate Staffing is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for our client in Fremont. These are 100% onsite roles, temp to perm, Monday -Friday 7am-3:30pm with a starting pay of $25-$32 an hour based on experience.
Summary of Job Duties: Candidate will, under limited supervision, perform a variety of complex technical operations on the production and developmental equipment for the semiconductor and other related industries. Candidate will work on multiple projects and will be required to assemble, integrate, and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electro-mechanical, pneumatics, fluids, and control systems.
Specific Job Duties:
o Using manual common tools, build complex, precision mechanical and electromechanical assemblies,
o Perform light part modification such as drilling and tapping.
o Build to mechanical assembly drawings, perform system integration of mechanical components, assemblies and or modules.
o Troubleshoot mechanical problems using common measurement tools.
o Perform precision alignments and calibrations of subsystems and systems
o Interface with Engineering to solve issues related to bill of materials, drawings, diagrams, parts.
o Perform final qualification test of subsystems and system
Qualifications:
o Prototyping experience in a production work environment.
o Desired 5+ years of experience working as a technician.
o Excellent troubleshooting ability.
o Ability to interpret mechanical CAD drawings and blueprints.
o Ability to learn to work in a fast-paced environment.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate crossfunctionally, and collaboration abilities.
o Desired AA degree in industrial, or mechanical is preferred.
o Desired experience writing or debugging PLC ladder logic.
