Summary:
Under a physician's direction, applies and adjusts plaster casts and assembles and attaches orthopedic traction equipment and devices. Sets up bed traction units or rigs special devices as required. Periodically inspects and adjusts bandages and equipment.

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of an RN provides orthopedic services for emergency/trauma services and clinical services.
Requirements:
Education/Skills
High School diploma or equivalent.
Requires a high degree of independent functioning and action based on a thorough understanding of Emergency and Orthopedic Service operations.
Experience
Trauma and/or EMT experience preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
CPR American Heart Association
