Hello! My name is Alexandra and my husband and I live in Springfield, Oregon. We have two cats (who mostly take care of themselves) and a quaker parrot (who requires more care and attention). We might be out of town for a couple days at the end of May. We’re new to the area and we don’t really know anyone here, and we’ve never left Birbie with a stranger before. What we’re actually hoping to find is someone who would be comfortable looking after a parrot and would be available for a kind of trial-run with him. This could be pretty much any time in the next few weeks. Birbie has to be woken up in the morning and put to bed at night, and he typically spends most of his awake time out of his cage. This means you wouldn’t necessarily have to stay overnight (though you could). But what is much more important is spending time here during the day.
