\n - Responsible for all aspects of Provisioning Technical Documentation as required by individual shipbuilding contracts.
\n - Review vendor equipment drawings to determine & identify significant maintenance repair parts.
\n - Prepare & submit Allowance Parts Lists through the Navy's ICAPS Client server for CDRL submittal to the Navy's approval authority.
\n - Maintain accurate and complete records of work prepared and daily status
\n - Daily interaction with other functional areas in Integrated Logistic Support, Engineering, Procurement, Navy customer, and periodic Vendor support.
\n
Required/Preferred Education/Training - High School Diploma / GED required.
Required/Preferred Experience \n - Minimum of 5 years related mechanical, electrical, or other technical or trades experience preferred.
\n - Knowledge of the development of Provisioning Technical Documentation and the Navy Supply Support Process a plus.
\n - Familiarity with Navy Logistic Documentation, primarily Allowance Parts Lists and Tech Manuals is a plus.
\n - Ability to read, interpret, and understand vendor equipment drawings, specifications, and technical instructions preferred.
\n - Must be detail orientated, well organized, and able to strictly adhere to schedules.
\n - Knowledgeable in a variety of PC / Mainframe applications (Word, Excel, Access) is preferred.
\n - ICAPS/WSF/Deck Plate/WEBFLIS or other Navy Logistic experience a plus.
\n - Technical background with strong mechanical aptitude required.
\n - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, due to frequent interfacing with Navy representatives and internal organizations.
\n - Ability to work in a close team environment and coordinate multiple priorities with little supervision required.

2nd Class Designer Required: \n - Minimum of four (4) years design experience, OR
\n - Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture)

3rd Class Designer Required: - Minimum of a High School Diploma or have completed a Trade/Technical/Vocational program.
\n
3rd Class Designer Preferred: \n - High School Diploma with STEM endorsement.
\n - 1 year of provisioning experience, OR
\n - Associates Degree in Technical School (Engineering Technology, Architecture), OR
\n - Graduate of BIW's Manufacturing division apprenticeship program, OR
\n - Seven (7) years of experience as a first class mechanic in a marine trade, or formal military training in a technical field.
