Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Ann Arbor Public Schools
\n Pay Rate: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
\n Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 hours per day
\n Location: Ann Arbor, MI

\n\n

Overview:
\nAnn Arbor Public Schools is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to support students in the classroom and throughout the school day. This is a light-duty, school-based position focused on supervision, guidance, and care support—not medical procedures.

\n\n

Responsibilities:

\n\n

\n\t
• \n\t

  Monitor and assist students during classroom activities and transitions

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Provide gentle reminders for restroom breaks (students are fully mobile)

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Support lunch and bus transitions (helping students get on/off buses and find classrooms)

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Occasionally provide 1:1 support as needed

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Assist in the health office with basic tasks such as distributing medications under staff direction

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Participate in on-site training provided by the district

  \n\t
\n

\n\n

Qualifications:

\n\n

\n\t
• \n\t

  Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Experience working with children preferred

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Reliable, caring, and team-oriented

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  \n\t
\n
