Job Description:

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

Cyber Analyses and Remediation:

• Performs cybersecurity analysis with the goal of enhancing enterprise remediation capabilities.
• Integrates security practices directly into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring continuous security assessments and vulnerability mitigation.
• Supports DevSecOps engineers and assists in embedding security at every stage of development, aligning with zero-trust principles.
• Designs and assesses technical solutions to ensure they are compatible with the zero-trust framework and cybersecurity requirements.
• Assists the solution architect with ensuring that each system component aligns with the security needs of the DevSecOps environment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education and Experience: Technical Training, certification(s), or degree and 3+ years of experience
• Required Certifications: CND or Network+; ITIL 4 Foundation ITSM certification or ability to obtain within 9 months of hire
• Desired Certifications: GIAC Certified Vulnerability Assessor (GCVA); or CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+); or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH); or MITRE ATT&CK Defender (MAD); or GIAC Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (GCTI)
• Security Clearance: minimum Top Secret. M ust be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility. TS/SCI preferred
• Location: Onsite - Offutt AFB, Omaha, NE

The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
