As a Security Officer - Government Building Patrols in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and responding to situations with professionalism, while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or the public with inquiries and directions, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
