As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all individuals on site. You will utilize your communication skills to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors, assisting them as needed while upholding site protocols. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a company or client vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any unusual or suspicious activities.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure work environment.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or security-related concerns unique to a manufacturing and industrial location and report findings to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
