Job Description:
Join a dynamic renewable energy company in Houston, TX, as a Senior Accountant.
This full-time role involves managing the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting.
The position offers a path to managerial roles, requiring proficiency in financial systems and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash management.
Oversee month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation following U.S. GAAP.
Collaborate with finance to monitor spending, improve forecasting, and enhance budget reporting.
Implement process improvements to streamline workflows and strengthen internal controls.
Support audit preparation, tax compliance, and external reporting requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in public accounting or a capital-intensive industry.
Strong technical GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
Experience with enterprise resource planning systems.
Proven ability to collaborate with finance and operations teams.
