Soni Resources is partnering with an organization near Carlstadt NJ, in the search for a Senior Accountant to join their department. In this role, you'll be instrumental in providing full cycle accounting for the growing organization.

Responsibilities:
Reporting & Closing

• Monitor and review accounting reports for accuracy.
• Analyze budget, revenue, and expense entries.
• Prepare all journal entries for period close and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Compile and prepare financial statements and various reports.
• Assist in year-end closing procedures.
• Support audit projects as needed.

Treasury & Banking

• Analyze and record assets for capitalization.
• Assist in compiling cost and budget estimates, especially for capital projects.
• Prepare accounting entries for various transactions.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Administer the preparation of payment requests.
• Ensure all accounting transactions follow GAAP and SOX guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Bilingual in Korean and English.
• Proven experience in full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One, R3, or ByDesign is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and Excel.
• Prior audit experience is a significant plus.

Compensation: $85,000 - $130,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
