About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior College and Career Coach to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing the number of students enrolled in and completing career and technical education (CTE) pathways aligned with priority industry sectors. This includes working with school leadership to align curriculums, promoting these pathways to students, and maintaining employer relationships. The role also involves supporting students in attaining industry-recognized credentials, exploring career pathways, and preparing for post-secondary education. The Coach will be an integral part of the school community, coordinating a variety of career development opportunities, and empowering educators to enhance classroom learning with real-world skills. Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in volunteer management, community relations, or customer relations, with at least 1 year of experience working with youth, preferably in a teaching or guidance counselor role. Experience in industry and with strategic planning is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, well-organized, and able to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to provide superior customer service and to work independently with minimal supervision. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who is proficient in MS Office and can travel to various school locations. Personal attributes such as innovation, diplomacy, and the ability to collaborate and execute with excellence are also key.
