Cultris Security Systems in Houston, TX is hiring a Senior Security Alarm Technician with expertise in access control installation, CCTV systems, and intrusion alarm systems . If you have at least 5 years of hands-on experience and are ready to hit the ground running, we want to hear from you. Fire alarm experience is a plus.

This position is installation-heavy (cable runs, device mounting, programming, testing) but also includes service work such as troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and warranty/RMA handling. You’ll work on projects ranging from commercial buildings to residential homes , interacting directly with clients at all levels.

What You’ll Do

• Install, program, and test access control, intrusion alarm, and CCTV systems to professional and code standards.

• Run low-voltage cable, mount devices, and ensure full system functionality.

• Troubleshoot and repair security systems, perform scheduled maintenance.

• Program and configure systems: DSX, Brivo, DSC, Honeywell, Alula, Wisenet Wave, Eagle Eye (experience highly preferred).

• Maintain accurate service tickets and track job progress daily.

• Travel to multiple customer locations (company vehicle provided).

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in access control, intrusion alarm, and CCTV installation/service.

• Proven programming and troubleshooting skills.

• Familiarity with DSX, Brivo, DSC, Honeywell, Alula, Wisenet Wave, Eagle Eye strongly preferred.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Must pass a background check.

• DPS Burglar Alarm Registration required (or ability to obtain before start).

• Fire Alarm License preferred (or willingness to obtain).
