Senior Web Developer & Graphic Designer

Contract / 40 hours/week

2-3 months (Completion by February 2026)

Rate: $55-60.00/hour

Location: Marshall, MI (Hybrid)

Start: ASAP

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Web Developer & Graphic Designer to join our client's team on a contract basis. As a key member of our client's staff, you'll lead the design and development of visually stunning and user-friendly websites, graphics, and digital assets that drive engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of responsive websites, mobile apps, and digital platforms

- Create graphics, logos, and branding materials for web and print

- Collaborate with team to develop creative concepts and solutions

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility

- Optimize websites for speed and search engines

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

- Develop and implement AI-powered concierge for website

- Integrate website with accessibility, HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce, and other tracking and analytics services

- Design and develop AI-powered concierge for website

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in web development and graphic design

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design

- Experience with WordPress, React, or other CMS/frameworks

- Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Portfolio or examples of work

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with UI/UX design

- Knowledge of SEO principles

- Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)

- Experience leading projects and teams

- Experience with AI implementation and integration

Project Details:

- Full rebuild of corporate website, preserving existing SEO rankings

- Integrate website with HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce, and other tracking and analytics services

- Develop AI-powered concierge for website

- Target completion date: February

- Reporting to: Grant and Jack at BrickStreet

- Hybrid arrangement with on-site presence in Albion, Michigan a couple of days per week, or remote engagement with consistent availability during business hours
