Job Description

Tom Wood Volkswagen, in Indianapolis, IN is searching for a Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks with teamwork and efficiency.


Pay: $18/hour


Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00am-4:00pm


Responsibilities:

• Process and package customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain an organized and clean parts storage area.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations as needed.
• Collaborate with the parts team to support overall department operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping/receiving or a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with computers and inventory systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry parts or packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
