Job Summary: We are seeking a Sign Maker/Installer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing support in various aspects of production, including printer maintenance, hemming, grommeting, and other related tasks. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs), travel to sporting events, and perform other duties as required.
Prep and Material Handling: Prepare and cut various materials like vinyl, acrylic, and metal for sign fabrication. This includes weeding vinyl, laminating prints, and organizing materials for projects.
Fabrication and Assembly: Assist in the assembly of signs, which can involve mounting graphics to substrates, applying vinyl lettering, and constructing sign components.
Finishing and Quality Control: Help with the final stages of production, such as trimming, cleaning, and inspecting signs to ensure they meet quality standards before they are shipped or installed.
Machine Operation: Operate and maintain production equipment, including large-format printers, vinyl cutters, laminators, and other tools used in the sign-making process.
Shop Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized, assist with inventory management, and help with general shop upkeep to ensure a smooth workflow.
