We are looking for a skilled SMT machine operator to join our production team! This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented and technically skilled, with experience running Surface Mount Technology equipment. You will help assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Location:  Plymouth, MN

Wage:  Up to $24/hr for a great candidate

Hours: 6:30 am - 4 pm Monday - Thursday, 7 am-11 am, Friday

Duties of the SMT machine operator:

• Set up, program, and operate SMT machines
• Load components and materials per job specifications
• Inspect first articles and finished boards for quality and accuracy
• Monitor production runs and troubleshoot issues
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Maintain production records and follow safety procedures
• Work with engineers, inspectors, and supervisors to ensure consistent output

Requirements of the SMT machine operator:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience operating SMT or electronics assembly equipment
• Ability to read assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions
• Familiarity with ESD procedures and IPC standards
• Experience with AOI or reflow oven profiling
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent
