The role:

As an AI Engineer at Entera, you’ll contribute to our AI and backend stack. You’ll be responsible for deploying tools to our internal AI architecture, particularly leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) via frameworks & tools such as OpenAI compliant APIs, LangChain and LangSmith. You’ll develop and integrate AI solutions utilizing our internal software stack, primarily using Python, connecting data from internal APIs to hosted or internal LLMs. Experience with Go programming is a plus. You’ll be joining a team of highly skilled and motivated AI, backend, full stack, and frontend engineers helping to deliver on the Entera product roadmap. This is a fast-paced role in a rapidly growing engineering organization and an opportunity to make tangible contributions to the business as it grows.

What you’ll do:


  • Develop and deploy AI production using AI agents , especially with LLMs.

  • Implement AI solutions using frameworks like LangChain and LangSmith.

  • Develop new services and features in Python, with FastAPI.

  • Connect internal APIs to hosted LLMs for data integration.

  • Provide support to core platform APIs.

  • Contribute to TDD efforts and ensure near-complete code coverage in our automated test suite.

  • Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.

  • Participate in code reviews.

  • Partner across all business domains to ensure design specs are being met.

  • Contribute to the Entera architecture.

  • Work successfully in team sprints.

Requirements:


  • Degree in BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar.

  • Proficiency in LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Python, FastAPI and similar technologies

  • 2+ years experience in Engineering at product-driven tech companies, with some production experience across AI Engineering products

  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with internal and external professionals

  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized with a proven ability to work well in a high-intensity environment to complete tasks quickly and effectively

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of software architecture practices

  • Working knowledge of frontend requirements

  • Agile development experience
