Job Description

In this role, you will manage the Packet Core project technical team on a daily basis, including task assignments and oversight of their execution. You will coordinate engineers' work according to customer demands and expectations, schedule and facilitate regular project technical meetings. You will provide reports on the status, issues, and future plans within your responsibility area. You are accountable for the quality of all technical processes and procedures implemented in the project, such as customer network interventions: administrative and technical preparations, development of procedures, rehearsal testing in labs, instructing engineers, and making decisions regarding intervention outcomes. Responsibilities include: Create Packet Core domain project delivery schedules. Support the Project Manager in creating project schedules and resource management plans. Initiate, create, and deliver technical project documents according to customer and internal procedures, including CPC design documents per project requirements. Deliver CPC technical project scope, including deployment, integration, upgrade, acceptance testing, and performance evaluation of network functions. Consult with project stakeholders on all technical questions related to CPC. Define CPC software implementation strategies, including specific software versions, installation sequences, and dependencies among Nokia solution network elements. Define requirements for new software features needed for project completion, collaborating with R&D and product managers to request these features. Develop and implement new tools to increase project effectiveness, including automation tools, and provide feedback to developers. Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in Packet Core projects. Knowledge and experience with Packet Core equipment: MME, S/PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF. Knowledge or experience with Nokia Packet Core equipment: cMM, cMG, NRD. Ability to understand technical notes, protocol specifications, and methods of procedure. Preferred Skills: Linux knowledge is an advantage. Basic project management skills are an advantage.
