Sr. Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Locations: North Bethesda, MD; Lexington, KY; Boston, MA We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to lead our SRE teams. You will define strategic directions and initiatives to help Xometry build cost-effective, secure, reliable, and high-performance systems for our global marketplace. Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineering, product, and program management leaders to establish standards, metrics, and practices that enhance operational rigor, efficiency, and engineering velocity. Develop automated and self-service strategies to improve operational efficiency and empower development teams. Promote and measure observability, monitoring, and metrics practices across systems. Oversee the development, configuration, and maintenance of underlying platforms, including AWS accounts, networking, Kubernetes clusters, and similar systems. Manage the development and upkeep of observability and monitoring tools. Supervise the development and maintenance of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions Runners and ArgoCD. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in software development and site reliability engineering in a fast-paced, product-driven environment, with a relevant degree or equivalent experience. An iterative, opinionated approach balancing short-term priorities with long-term system architecture goals. Proven experience building and leading high-performing SRE teams. Strong understanding of infrastructure automation and observability within distributed systems. Experience defining and operationalizing SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets for platforms and applications.
