Technical Manager – Injection Molding

Technimark is a rapidly growing global manufacturer of custom rigid plastics solutions. Working in conjunction with some of the world’s most respected companies. With our corporate headquarters in Asheboro we create, design, and deliver products across multiple industry sectors including healthcare, packaging, industrial and consumer products for customers around the globe.

Technimark is looking for a Technical Manager to oversee setup, startup, and optimization of molding operations for our plant located in Inwood, West Virginia. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll guide a cross-functional team and be responsible for driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement across molding, tooling, maintenance, and automation.

Job responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 4 direct reports including the groups over the Tool Room, Maintenance, Process Engineering, and Automation.
• Oversee the full mold change and setup process — ensuring every machine and automation system runs to specification.
• Own mold qualification and assist with mold design for new projects
• Collaborate with project management and our clients to plan and execute development initiatives with a focus on hitting key milestones.
• Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting complex process and equipment issues
• Support capital investments in infrastructure for new and existing production lines
• Promote continuous improvement and champion process optimization strategies across the plant
• Ensure every product meets stringent quality standards through proactive process control

Experience Required

• 3-5+ years of hands-on injection molding experience, with a strong focus on processing and troubleshooting
• Strong technical, people and project leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of mold design, automation, and process engineering best practices
• Comfortable with MS Office tolls including (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Clear communicator and problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical training is a plus
