Job Description
Role: Installs ceramic, porcelain, marble, or other tiles on floors, walls, and surfaces in residential or commercial settings.
Key Duties:
• Prepare surfaces (clean, level, remove old materials).
• Measure and plan tile layouts.
• Cut and shape tiles to fit designs or spaces.
• Apply adhesives, set tiles, and ensure proper alignment.
• Grout, seal, and clean tile installations.
• Repair or replace damaged tiles.
• Maintain tools and follow safety protocols.
• Consult with clients or contractors.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency with tile-setting tools (e.g., wet saws, trowels).
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Physical stamina for lifting and prolonged work.
• Basic math and spatial skills.
• Experience in tile installation or construction preferred.
• Optional certifications (e.g., Certified Tile Installer).
