Akkodis is seeking VMWare Engineer for Direct Hire position which is onsite – 5 Days/Week with to Fairfax/Alexandria. Ideally, We are looking for experienced VMWare Aria Engineer supporting a Government customer.
JOB TITLE: VMWare Engineer
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Direct Hire
LOCATION DETAILS: Northern Virginia – Fairfax/Alexandria
Salary Range: $100 - $130K/Annum (Salary may be negotiable based upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors ).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a VMWare Aria Engineer supporting a Government customer
- Design, develop, and implement a Gov’t Multi-cloud management platform
- Support customer cost, operations, and automation goals
- Optimize network operations across applications and clouds
- Automate workload balancing and placement for the VMware cloud
- Automate IT infrastructure
- Streamline DevOps infrastructure resource consumption and delivery
- Set and verify security configurations in the delivery pipeline and remediate violations
- Advise Project Managers on technical issues and solutions
Required Skills:
- Hands-on Aria (Formerly VRealize) experience
- Aria Operations
- Aria Ops for Logs
- Aria Ops for Network
- Aria Automation
- Experience with the following is a plus:
- VMware ESXi
- vSphere
- vMotion
- HCI
- Kubernetes
- RHEL
- Aria certified (preferred)
- Have Active Secret Clearance
