Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area in compliance with all safety and health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
Engage with guests, take drink and food orders, and provide recommendations when needed.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including restocking, cleaning, and sanitizing.
Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age.
Handle cash, credit, and room charges accurately and process transactions through the POS system.
Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.
Maintain inventory levels and inform management of stock shortages.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
Understanding of responsible alcohol service and liquor laws.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
High school diploma or equivalent; bartending training or certification preferred.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol as per local regulations.
