As a Security Officer - Hospital Roving Patrol in Falls Church, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible throughout your shift, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintaining a visible presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the location and report findings to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and managing visitor entry as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and providing guidance during medical or security-related incidents.
• Communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors to provide directions, information, and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
