Job Title: Junior Full Stack Developer

Location: DC, Maryland, or Virginia

Employment Type: 85-95k/year

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Angular and Java, building and integrating RESTful APIs, and collaborating in an Agile development environment. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, leveraging DevOps toolchains to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular (front-end) and Java (back-end).
  • Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs and web services to support application functionality.
  • Work within an Agile software development team, participating in sprints, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
  • Utilize DevOps toolchain to automate and optimize deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve development practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Proficiency in Angular (Typescript, RxJS, and component-based architecture).
  • Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar frameworks).
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and web services development.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and version control tools like Git.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit, Jasmine, or Karma.
  • Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and API gateway solutions.
