Plant Maintenance Technician I

**2ND SHIFT ONLY 2PM - 10 PM**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Expected to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a safe manner and according to the standard set by B & W.
• Completion of all work orders via CMMS.
• Assist with operational support on equipment.
• Understanding and completion of daily, monthly and quarterly PM’s.
• Assist with emergency and corrective action repairs.
• Under guidance and supervision, assists in preparing both building and processing equipment for season start-up and shut down.
• Maintain communication with Maintenance Manager.
• Take direction from supervisors and effectively and efficiently manage your time.
• Be able to work a minimum of six days per week and 12 hours per day. Weekend work is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :

• 1 years of maintenance in a food grade industrial facility preferred.
• Basic Mechanical (gear boxes, motors, bearings, etc.)and Electrical and troubleshooting experience a plus.
• Willingness to further education with both outside training courses and hands on training on equipment.

COMMUNICATION SKILL LEVEL : Good

COMPUTER SKILLS : Moderate
